here are a few pics from the mural & found object show last weekend...thanks to those who came to visit!

this weekend's show is all about found or repurposed objects. david and i are collectors...one step inside our apartment and you will know this is true. our recent obsession has been vintage/antique shops, thrift stores, and garage sales for items to use in our artwork.  tomorrow night, we will showcase some of our finds, proving that one (wo)man's trash is another's treasure.

please join us either friday night 7-10pm or saturday 11am-5pm to see the above piece in its entirety. and if you're not in the houston area and still interested in seeing the show, check back next week for posts of the artwork on display.

we are also exploring the idea of holding workshops in the studio for those who want to stop LOOKING at art and actually get their hands dirty. you can visit our facebook page (see right) and join the "discussion" to cast your vote for workshop topics!

i'll leave you with another work in progress, these were pieces of cardboard left over from the track lighting david and i installed in the studio...recycling at its finest.
