we are excited to welcome some incredibly talented women to mariposa studio this month! on friday august 27, we will hold the women of texas art show, with artists from across the state. we hope you'll join us to support local talent and spend some time getting to know these women. there is free admission for the event and a chance to take home a piece of your own.

at mariposa studio, we believe adults need more opportunities to play. in our new mixed media workshop you will have the chance to do just that…and we clean up the mess!  if you're curious about mixed media art and intrigued by the opportunity to combine your personal items in a unique art piece, Make A Mess is for you! we will supply a variety of media for use during the workshop, including (but not limited to): papers, photographs, vintage ephemera, acrylic paints, watercolors, beeswax. and to personalize the experience, we encourage participants to bring their own photos, images from magazines/newspapers, mementos to include in their artwork.
